Dan and I took one of our last weekends to ride our beach cruisers down to the beach, pick up takeout and to enjoy a beautiful Southern Californian sunset. We will definitely miss these nights.
I can't believe we did either, LOL! There's no place like California. Too bad I'll probably never get to live there again! Luckily my mom and family are still there so I'll always have an excuse to go visit!
just because it's the right thing to do it doesn't make it any easier to do, does it? At least that's how I'm feeling.
I know it sounds petty but I think I feel the tiniest amount of what the pioneers must have felt when they had to leave their homes behind.
HOWEVER, it all works out for our best in the end. It apparantly takes 8 months to feel totally adjusted and at home in your new place (via M.J. Seely who I just spoke with).
Hope you and Dan are settling in nicely! We miss you
I can't believe that you left that beautiful sunset and your amazing friends. We miss you guys but we are just excited that you blog so that we can still keep in touch.
Holly, I still cant believe you left that. But we have our things to offer here in Utah. Invirsion, backed up traffic on I-15, snow. You will love it. Sorry I missed your shower we had so much stuff going on Saturday and Dave had to be gone to the Real Game. What is your address I would love to mail a little cute something for the baby.
Your apartment at the manor is still empty! And your computer is still infront of the door! It's sign - you are meant to come back! :) We miss you, but there is nothing quite like spring and fall in Utah - I'm trying to be positive! :) WE MISS YOU!
Your spot at the manor still sits empty! And your computer is still infront of your door! :) I think it's a sign! I'll talk to Tyler and Natalie! :) We miss you guys!
"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking the kids to scout camp. I want to be there with grass stains on my shoes from mowing Sister Schenk's lawn. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbor's children. I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with the children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived." -Marjorie Hinckley
