The amateur blogger....

So, I'm a real amateur when it comes to this blogging stuff. It seems like it is something that just becomes natural as soon as you breast feed. Since I don't have any kids, it's a bit tougher for me! ;) I just don't have the time to figure out how to fix the layout, but one of these days I will and I'll have all my pictures organized and making sense to the rest of the world! In the mean time, sorry, you'll just have to suffer through my chaos!

Europe Trip!

After we had been married about 5 months Dan and I went to Europe and backpacked for a month. We had a blast. We started the trip in London, where I served my mission. It was fun for me to have Dan go to the places and meet the people that are such a big part of my life. From London, we took a train through Paris to Switzerland, where we stayed for a few days. We celebrated Dan's 30th on top of the world in this tiny little village called Gimmelwald, Switzerland. I keep telling Dan that he's going to have to do something really fabulous for my 30th birthday next year!

The beginning....

Dan I met in Huntington Beach, California. We got engaged after dating for almost a year and then got married on April 9th, 2005.

Happy New Year!

Most years I set a New Years goal to write in my journal. I'm pretty good at it from about January-mid February. I figured I'd give this a try and see if I do better and last longer on-line. I hope so! Unfortunately, life with the Dixons is not too exciting these days, so we'll see how often I write! Right now I'm just counting down the days until graduation on May 30th! :)
